What customers say?

“ An outstanding example of Taiwanese street food done right. The gua bao here is beautifully balanced — soft, fluffy buns paired with richly braised pork that is flavorful without being greasy. The acidity and freshness from the garnishes lift the dish perfectly. What makes this place special is restraint. Nothing is overworked, nothing is exaggerated. It’s confident cooking rooted in tradition. Simple, direct, and incredibly satisfying. Easily one of the best gua bao experiences I’ve had, and absolutely worth a return visit. ”

“ Pretty nice gua bao recommended by the Michelin guide. There seems to always be a queue, so be prepared to wait. The pork was very tender and juicy, but in my opinion, it a was little bit too sweet. Nice flavors overall and decent price! ”

“ Michelin awarded pork buns. The pork is so tender, the Bao has a generous filling and a fair price. The taste is very much on the sweet side, I personally would have preferred a bit more balance, just a touch more salt and also acidity from the pickles. Sadly there is no way to adjust the taste, because the only condiment available is chili. Still an excellent quality Bao for a fair price - especially if you like it sweet. ”
